Since opening our doors in 1996, Canberra Hire Pty Ltd has become one of ACT’s biggest privately owned equipment hire businesses. Our first product offering was just a single set of portable toilets and over the years as we’ve proudly become one of Canberra’s favourite event and construction equipment leasers. We now offer a range of equipment for hire, storage solutions and more.
Our hardworking and committed team is what resulted in us to be chosen by government departments as the sole supplier of portable toilets and other products for a number training exercises in and around Canberra.
After years of working in the hiring and equipment leasing industry, our team has developed great logistical experience. That means we are now capable of easily managing hundreds of portaloos throughout the year, more than 700 to be exact. Typically these need to be relocated or replaced within just days or even hours of us being contacted.
Now, after 20 years, our services extend far beyond just portaloos. We are a leading supplier of construction and building equipment for Canberra’s DIY and home improvement market. Generators, light towers, containers, acrow props, construction machinery and temporary fencing are just a few of the products we offer to our DIY and construction customers.
